The information below pertains to students entering fall 2009. Information for students entering spring 2010 will be available during November 2009.
The University Store is Towson University’s only official source for textbooks and course materials as a result of its direct access to the most current and accurate textbook information from faculty. The University Store carries the exact titles and editions of your textbooks as specified by your professors. All textbooks are competitively priced, and the University Store’s liberal and hassle-free return policy (with original receipt) makes it easy to return textbooks if you drop a class or do not need the book. To help you save money, the University Store tries to provide as many used copies as possible, which are priced 25 percent lower than new books. Textbooks for fall 2009 will be available for purchase in the University Store on or about August 24. Extended hours will be available during the week of August 24, including move-in weekend. While you are buying your books, don’t forget to check out the wide array of other merchandise in the University Store. Our most distinctive merchandise which promotes school spirit and recognition consists of quality TU emblematic adult and children’s clothing, giftware and stationery. The University Store is the home of the official Towson University class ring. You can view a sampling of our clothing and gifts in our online store at http://store.towson.edu. Then visit the University Store in its convenient location on the first floor of the University Union for a unique shopping experience. The University Store accepts OneCard Retail/Vending Points, cash, personal checks with proper ID (the imprinted last name on the check must match the ID of the customer), VISA, Mastercard and Discover.
