The information below pertains to students entering fall 2009. Information for students entering spring 2010 will be available during November 2009.In case of inclement weather, call 410-704-NEWS or 410-704-2000. A recorded message will tell you if the university is closed or if there is a delayed opening. The following radio and television stations will also broadcast weather-related information. In the Baltimore area: WBAL/98 Rock (1090 AM/97.9 FM); WCAO/WXYV (600 AM/103 FM); WLIF (101.9 FM); WBAL-TV (11); WJZ-TV (13); and WMAR-TV (2). In the Washington, D.C., area: WTOP (820 AM/103.5 FM), wmzq (98.7 FM) and WRC-TV (4).You may also visit the main page of the Towson University Web site where delayed opening or closing information is posted. Please note that if the university has a delayed opening time at or earlier than 10 a.m. on your assigned date, TU CARES will run as scheduled. Should the university open later than 10 a.m., TU CARES will be canceled for the day. Should the university close for the day, do not report for TU CARES- please contact New Student Programs at 410-704-2309 for rescheduling information.
