Bill Availability:  

The Bursar’s Office distributes all tuition bills electronically through an e-bill system. Here’s how it works:

• When tuition bills are ready each term, students receive an e-mail on their NetID account instructing them to view their bill at the eBill website. To access, visit the Towson Online Services website, click Towson Online Services; log in; click Self Service; click Student Center; and under Finances, click View eBill.
• Students can grant restricted access to parents, guardians, employers or other third parties to view and/or pay tuition bills. To do so, students go to the Towson Online Services website, click Towson Online Services; log in; click Self Service; click Student Center; and click eBill/Pymt-Add Users. This directs students to TU’s eBill and payment system. From there, click Authorized Users, then Add an Authorized User, and enter the e-mail address of the person to whom access is being granted. The person will receive an e-mail with a password that establishes their access to the eBill and payment system.
• Bill payments can be made online, in person at the Bursar’s Office, or through the mail.

Towson University issues Form 1098-T, Tuition Payments Statement, to each eligible student by January 31 as required by the IRS within the Taxpayer Relief Act of 1997. The Form 1098-T is an information tax document to aid taxpayers in determining whether they are eligible to claim a tax deduction or one of the education tax credits such as the American Opportunity Credit or Lifetime Learning Credit

By electing to Grant Consent:

• You will receive the eligible document earlier than the traditional mailing process

• You eliminate the chance that the document will get lost, delayed, or delivered to the wrong address.

• You are protecting yourself from potential identity theft concerns with a paper document.

• You are supporting the university in our effort to save the environment.

Signing up for online delivery is easy, secure, and only needs to be done one time.  In addition you can change your mind and withdraw from online delivery at any time.  Electing to use this option will display the electronic 1098-T information in your Towson University student portal. 

 To Grant Consent:

1. Login to Towson Online Services

2. Click the Self Service line

3. Click the Student Center link

4. Under the Finances section, select  “View 1098T”

5. Select the Grant Consent button
