Transferring from Maryland Community Colleges
Early Registration Program
Register early at TU for a great class schedule!
If you’re a Maryland public community college student and you’re thinking of attending TU next fall, you can beat the crowd and register early for fall classes. When you sign up for our Early Registration Program, you’ll get orientation, academic advising and the same selection of classes as other TU juniors!
How does early registration benefit me?
If you wait until TU’s summer orientation for transfer students, class selection may be limited. Our early registration program offers you an opportunity to register in April so you’ll get a better selection of classes. Students that do not participate in this program do not register until the summer months.
How do I participate?
-
Towson grants priority admission to Maryland public community college graduates in good academic standing. You’ll need 45 credits by the end of fall (and a total of 60 credits by the end of spring).
-
Apply for TU admission by January 15. (You can apply online or can request a paper application by calling 1-888-4TOWSON.)
-
Submit your enrollment contract and deposit by March 1.
-
You’ll receive a notification of TU’s admission decision and information about how to register for early advising and registration.
