Getting Here

Centrally located in Maryland and just eight miles north of Baltimore, Towson University is easily accessible by car, train or plane. A number of MTA bus routes also service the Towson area.

From I-95 (northbound and southbound): Take the Baltimore Beltway I-695 west (toward Towson). Take exit 25 (Charles Street) south. Proceed 1.7 miles. Turn left on Towsontown Boulevard, then turn right at the first light onto Emerson Drive.  Parking for campus tours is located on the first floor of the West Village Garage, which is your first right off of Emerson Drive.

From I-83 (northbound and southbound): Take the Baltimore Beltway I-695 east (toward Towson). Take exit 25 (Charles Street) south. Proceed 1.7 miles. From Baltimore (Penn Station): Proceed north on Charles Street for five miles. Turn right on Towsontown Boulevard, then turn right at the first light onto Emerson Drive.  Parking for campus tours is located on the first floor of the West Village Garage, which is your first right off of Emerson Drive.

Parking for Campus Tours

All campus tour visitors must make a campus tour reservation and use their email confirmation as their parking permit. The email confirmation must be placed on your windshield. Guests should note the following restrictions:

1. Parking for campus tours is located on the first level of West Village Garage only (GPS coordinates: 39.3947, -76.621034).
2. Parking in front of the Enrollment Services building is prohibited and will result in a parking fine.
3. Parking permits are only valid through the completion of the tour.
   

Inclement Weather

In the event classes are canceled, all campus tours will be canceled. Towson University will post closing information on the Towson University website or call 410-704-NEWS.
