So what's it like to be a varsity quarterback?
“It's a year-round job. The off season is actually harder than the regular season
because you work out on your own more. During the off season I wake up many a
morning at 5 or 6 and work out, followed by lifting. Then I get to be a
regular student and go to class.”
What's it like to compete in the Atlantic 10 Conference?
"It’s really competitive. Each week is a pretty rough game. It can be difficult playing hard teams week in, week out. You’re going tro be sore and beat up each week. You gotta be in shape and ready to do school stuff and also be ready for a tough game."
How did you decide to play football for the Tigers?
“My mother is a TU graduate and I went to Calvert Hall, so I knew about Towson and
what it had to offer. I knew I could get a good education here at a reasonable price
as well as play football at a good level. ”

What was the highlight of your last season?
“Beating Delaware at the Homecoming game in front of a great crowd.”
Tell us about one of your favorite history professors.
“I took Steve Phillips' Security in East Asia since 1945 course at night and really
enjoyed it. Professor Phillips always put humor into his teaching. Each session
lasted two and a half hours, but he kept it interesting and engaging the whole
time—not an easy thing to do. I knew little about China and that part of the world
coming into his class, but now I feel knowledgeable about those issues.”
Did anything surprise you about TU?
“Living on campus my freshman year gave me a completely different point of view. I
met people from out of state and from other countries, and had experiences I would
have missed if I hadn't been there. I'm still in touch with the friends I made in
the towers.”
How is TU helping you prepare for your future?
“I'm definitely planning to go to the Career Fair on campus. A lot of my friends are
looking for internships—they're good for your resume and help you get jobs after
graduation."
Is the NFL going to draft you?
“[laughs] Probably not. "
What would you say to somebody who's considering TU?
“Come take a look. We have very good majors. You can learn a lot, meet lots of people
and have a lot of fun too."
