Incoming freshmen and transfer students must apply for aid in January of 2007 for the 2007-2008 academic year by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online at the (Students who prefer to complete a paper FAFSA can request one by calling 1-800-4FED-AID.)
Make sure that we receive a copy of your application by listing Towson University, Title IV school code 002099, in Step 6 of your FAFSA. If you have already completed your FAFSA, but did not include Towson as one of the schools to receive the results, you can add Towson by going to the U.S. Department of Education's FAFSA Web site.
Incoming transfer students should be aware that financial aid, including most federal grants and loans, will not transfer from one institution to another. Basic eligibility for the Federal Pell Grant, and some state grants and scholarships may transfer, although the amounts may change.
