Financial Aid Basics

Cost of Attendance Budgets

Eligibility to receive financial aid is based on Cost of Attendance Budgets that include estimated direct expenses such as tuition, fees, room and board, and allowances for indirect expenses including books, personal and transportation expenses.

The 2013-14 budgets are based on estimated tuition, fees, room, board, and other rates. The TU Board of Regents will not set TU's final rates for these charges until June 2013.

The "MD Resident" and "Out-of-State" budgets include Room/Board allowances for students living on-campus or off-campus. These allowances are based on the estimated costs for a standard on-campus multiple-occupancy room and the 14 meals per week meal plan. Exact costs will vary based on each student's meal plan and housing selections.
