Receiving Aid

Financial Aid Notification

When you complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and are eligible for financial aid, you will receive a Financial Aid Notification showing your aid offer for the academic year.  New students will receive a Financial Aid Notification Guide in the mail while continuing students will receive an e-mail advising them that their financial aid offers are available for reviewing and accepting via Towson Online Services.

All students must read the Financial Aid Notification Guide before responding to their financial aid offers.

New students should respond to their aid offers by May 10, or within 10 days of receiving the offer, whichever date comes later.  Continuing students must accept or decline their offers of financial aid within two weeks of the offer, or the offer will be subject to cancellation.
