Scholarships are available to entering undergraduates and current students through various sources. Scholarships are awarded based on merit, financial need, or sometimes a combination of merit and need. Carefully review the deadlines and requirements when you apply for a scholarship. Some scholarships, in particular those from the state of Maryland require applicants to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid FAFSA.

Private scholarships are available through various businesses, foundations and civic organizations. Check online resources and directly with groups in your local community.
