Life@TU

Students come to Towson University from across the country and around the world. That means your time at TU can be one of discovery about more people and places than you ever imagined.

On our beautiful, 328-acre campus, you can attend concerts, art exhibits, athletic events—such as the Tiger all-star lacrosse team in a match-up against Johns Hopkins—and much more. In the city of Towson itself, a 10-minute walk away, you'll find tree-lined residential streets, restaurants, coffee shops, bookstores, movie theaters, and the Towson Town Center mall.

There is also a whole world of opportunities off campus. In 20 minutes you're in the heart of downtown Baltimore, the biggest city in Maryland. Even more cultural, historical and recreational resources await you in nearby Washington, D.C., and in New York City, just a three-hour bus ride.

Questions about university life? Call the Student LIFE Line, 410-704-LIFE (5433).

LIFE Line is staffed and ready to assist callers Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. After these hours, you can leave a voice mail message and get a response the next business day. You can also contact the Division of Student Affairs with your questions via e-mail, studentaffairs@towson.edu.

Find something to do on campus every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night! All events are free to TU students.
