RESEARCH HIGHLIGHTS

The scholarship of discovery encompasses a broad spectrum at Towson.

Faculty, staff and students are engaged in work funded by federal and state agencies, private foundations, corporations, and the community.

Projects range from bioterrorism research in the Jess and Mildred Fisher College of Science and Mathematics to teacher professional development in the College of Education. International business collaborations are forged through the College of Business and Economics and the Division of Economic and Community Outreach initiates work force development projects.

Recent awards

The College of Liberal Arts, through the Family Studies program and Department of Psychology and in partnership with the Maryland State Department of Education, is enhancing the ability of educational professionals in the state of Maryland to foster enhanced partnerships with families.
