Office of Undergraduate Research

The Office of Undergraduate Research supports undergraduate research through the three competitive programs described below. These programs are in addition to the resources offered by university colleges and the departments to undergraduate students. All original scholarly and creative activity appropriate to any discipline at our university is eligible for funding. This includes, for example, research in natural and social sciences, artistic performances, and works of art.

Application Deadline for Fall Semester 2013: September 20th

***Please note: For all future semesters the deadline will be the 4th Friday of the semester.

The University Undergraduate Research Committee comprises 10 faculty members, spanning 10 departments.

Annual Undergraduate and Graduate Research Expo

The Office of Undergraduate Research also sponsors an annual Undergraduate and Graduate Research Expo each spring at which undergraduate and graduate students from across campus share their work with the university community.
