Small project awards up to $100 are granted on a competitive basis. Funds may be used for supplies, books, software, equipment and fees, as appropriate to the project. The applications for a small project award are accepted on a rolling basis, contingent on the availability of funds. Students are encouraged to submit the applications as soon as possible.
Eligibility
All undergraduate students who are enrolled in a degree-seeking program at Towson University are eligible to apply. All projects must be mentored by a full-time faculty member. Students and faculty should review Faculty Mentor Responsibilities. Students are expected to have a minimum 3.0 GPA.
Students with a GPA lower than 3.0, must obtain a letter of support from their faculty mentor that addresses whether the student is able to carry out the project. This letter must be emailed by the faculty mentor to the Office of Undergraduate Research, UndergradResearch@towson.edu
