Martha J. Siegel, Ph.D.

Martha J. Siegel is a Professor Emerita of Mathematics at Towson University and a past Director and PI of its NSF-funded CoSMiC Scholars Program. She recently completed a 14-year term as the Secretary of the Mathematical Association of America and currently serves as chair of its Committee on the Undergraduate Program in Mathematics (CUPM).

Dr. Siegel holds a Ph.D. in stochastic processes from the University of Rochester and served a post-doctoral fellowship in operations research and mental health at the School of Hygiene and Public Health of the Johns Hopkins University.

Professor Siegel retired from TU in the summer of 2015.
