Dr. Wei Sun joined the mathematics faculty in 1996. He received his B.S. in mathematics from China's Northeast Normal University, and both his master and doctorate degrees from Columbia University.
Dr. Sun's research interest is in the area of mathematics education, with a special interest in teacher education, gifted students, and curriculum development. He is currently a member of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics, the Association of Mathematics Teacher Educators, and the Maryland Council of Teachers of Mathematics. |
