The Department of Mathematics of Towson University has an opening for a full-time lecturer starting January 27, 2014. A Doctorate is preferred, but a Master's degree may be considered. Preference will be given to candidates who have a record of excellence in teaching a variety of mathematics courses. The successful candidate will teach four course units (twelve contact hours). The salary range is $40,000-$45,000.
The Department of Mathematics offers bachelorís degree programs in pure mathematics, applied mathematics, actuarial science and risk management, and mathematics education. Masterís degree programs are offered in applied and industrial mathematics, and mathematics education.
