Actuarial Science and Risk Management Concentration

The actuarial science and risk management concentration is designed for those students who are interested in the actuarial and financial professions. This concentration has two main goals: (1) to prepare students to take the first four preliminary actuarial society exams, and (2) to offer the possibility of a career in the growing field of risk management at various financial institutions such as banks, brokerage houses and insurance companies. The curriculum meets the requirements for and has been designated an advanced undergraduate program by both the Society of Actuaries and the Casualty Actuary Society.
