Only courses approved by the Department of Mathematics may be applied to a major
program offered by the department. If a student submits
mathematics units that are more than five years old at the time
of admission or readmission, the chair, after reviewing these
records, may require that some courses be repeated or that a new
course be substituted.
All students in the combined major in mathematics and economics program are required to take MATH 490 Senior Seminar and at least six (6) additional upper-division mathematics courses in their program at Towson University.
