Minor in Mathematics
The minor in mathematics is designed to enhance other major programs in which mathematics is applied and a useful tool. There are many career opportunities for students with a major which includes a strong mathematical component. Many employers are looking for people who can apply and understand the mathematics that is used in their fields of study.
The minor in mathematics requires 23 to 24 units completed with a grade equivalent of 2.00 or higher.

Upper-Division Mathematics Electives (12 units)
Students must select at least twelve unit hours of upper-division electives in Mathematics, excluding MATH 305, MATH 321, MATH 323, MATH 324, MATH 326, and MATH 423.
