Mathematics Secondary Education Concentration

The mathematics and sciences secondary education concentrations at Towson University are transitioning to the acclaimed UTeach program. This successful program was developed at the University of Texas at Austin and adopted at Towson University in the Fall of 2012.

Students pursuing mathematics secondary concentration who entered Towson University as a freshmen in the Fall of 2012 or later should follow the program of courses described in the
 Mathematics Secondary Education Concentration in the Mathematics Major of the Towson
   UTeach Program
.

Students pursuing mathematics secondary concentration who entered Towson University as a freshmen prior to the Fall of 2012 will finish under the
 Previous Mathematics Secondary Education Concentration in the Mathematics Major.

Due to the individualized experiences that transfer students bring to Towson University, they must consult with their mathematics advisor to determine the appropriate mathematics secondary education concentration to pursue.
