Mathematics majors who receive a grade of “D” in a 100 level course prerequisite to calculus must repeat the course no later than concurrent with calculus. Mathematics majors or minors must attain a grade of “C” or higher in any 200, 300 or 400 level course used as a prerequisite or applied towards a major or minor. Unless otherwise noted, prerequisites must be satisfied prior to taking a course.
If you are following the GenEd Requirements for graduation, then successful completion of PHYS 241 and PHYS 242 will satisfy the General Education
Requirements in Category II.A.1. If you are following the Core Curriculum Requirements for graduation, then successful completion of PHYS 241 and PHYS 242 will satisfy Core Curriculum 7 and Core Curriculum 8.
