Professor Hester earned her Masters degree from Arizona State University where she specialized in rhetoric and performance studies. Her particular interests lie in critical communication pedagogy. She has taught public speaking, performance studies, rhetorical theory and criticism, intercultural communication, interpersonal communication, communication in business and the professions, and introduction to communication studies.
