  • What are the scholarships' amounts?
    Note that because scholarships are based primarily on interest earned from investments and endowments, amounts can fluctuate each semester in terms of specific dollar amounts.

    Yes. Students may apply for more than one of the scholarships.

    What materials do I need to submit to apply for a scholarship?
    Required materials differ somewhat for each of the scholarships. Most require
    • a completed application form
    • a cover letter
    • a resume
    • recommendation letters
    • academic transcripts

    How many copies of application materials do I need to submit?
    For each scholarship application, a student is to submit one original and five copies of the required materials. Each set of materials is to be firmly stapled together at the upper left corner.

    What is the procedure for selecting scholarship recipients?
    The department scholarship committee will first select finalists by means of documentation screening. Scholarship recipients will then be determined after finalists' interview with the committee.
