Parking Information

Parking permits are required to park in Towson University lots. Parking is available in all university student lots. Cost is $16.00/week, checks payable to Towson University and may be paid on the first day of class. (If you wish, you can go to Parking Services in the Union to purchase a hangtag.) Please note that a citation for ‘failure to register’ has a parking fine of $75 for each occurrence.) Plan on arriving by 8:45AM so that you can attach the hangtag to your car prior to the start of class.

Registration Information

We encourage all students to make application to the Graduate School and to register well in advance of the course. However, we will accept Graduate Applications and registration on the first day of the class.

For New Students: You must have an Application for Graduate Study at Towson University form on file at the Graduate Office before registering. This can be completed by starting at the Graduate School link: http://grad.towson.edu/admission/index.asp

For New and Continuing Students: With your TU PeopleSoft ID number, you may register for summer

On-Line: Click here to take you to on-line registration. This is the preferred option. (If the on-line registration deadline has past, students will need to send hard copy registration information and payment to the Music Department. See 'Last Option' below.)
In-person at the REGISTRARS Office between April 2 - May 28

In-Class Graduate Application: You may apply for Graduate Study on the first day of a class and there is a $40 fee to apply. There is an additional $40.00 late fee to the Grad School for applying on the first day of class. ($80.00 total for grad school application) WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS OPTION. The application can be done over the web. (Click Here) Please apply early.

In-Class Registration: You may register on the first day of a class. A $45.00 late fee payable to TU DOK Account will be assessed. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS OPTION. WE HAVE TO DECIDE IF THE COURSE HAS ENOUGH ENROLLMENT FOR IT TO 'GO' AT LEAST THREE WEEKS PRIOR TO THE BEGINNING OF THE COURSE. PLEASE ENROLL EARLY. See above.
