Lawrence Crawford

Picture of Lawrence CrawfordLawrence Crawford is Professor Emeritus of the music theory and piano faculty. He holds a Bachelor and Masters degree from the University of Oregon (piano) and a Doctor of Philosophy degree from The Benjamin T. Rome School of Music at The Catholic University of America (Musicology with specialization in music theory).

Piano study included work with Leon Fleisher (Peabody Conservatory), Mieczyslaw Munz (Julliard), Benning Dexter (University of Michigan), and George Hopkins (University of Oregon). He studied composition with Homer Keller (University of Oregon) and Emerson Myers (Catholic University). 

Dr. Crawford is currently continuing his association with Towson University as an adjunct member of the Music Faculty specializing in piano and theory.
