A native of Baltimore, Mary Claire Ingalls has performed in the District of Columbia, Ashland and Los Angeles and has been a performing member of the Baltimore Music Club and the Towson Chamber Players. In addition to numerous solo recitals, she has performed in chamber and ensemble concerts and has been featured on Baltimore television. As coordinator of the Guest Artist Series at Towson University, Ms. Ingalls arranged recitals and master classes featuring some of the nation's foremost soloists and co-chaired benefit recitals for the Baltimore Classic Guitar Society and TU Classic Guitar scholarship fund. As a board member of the MD/DC/VA chapters of the American String Teachers Associations' Guitar Division, she co-directed the first Mid-Atlantic Guitar Festival held in 1989 at the College of Notre Dame in Maryland.
