| Timothy Murphy has performed or recorded with Woody Shaw, Curtis Fuller, Charlie Rouse, Gary Thomas, Pat Metheny and John Scofield and has performed on eight internationally released CDs on the JMT, Palmetto and Timbre labels. He has been organist at Saint Ignatius Church in Baltimore since 1983, hosted "The Morning Jazz Show" on WYRE and is cofounder of Steiner Murphy Pipe Organs. Mr. Murphy received a MMA (1984) and BMA (1979) from Peabody Conservatory. He joined the faculty of Towson University in September 1998.
