Gran Wilson

A native of Bessemer, Alabama, tenor Gran Wilson has established himself as a leading interpreter of the "Bel canto" repertoire on stages and in concert halls throughout the world. He has appeared in leading operatic roles with the New York City Opera, San Francisco Opera, Australian Opera, Netherlands Opera, Houston Grand Opera, Seattle Opera, Opera de Nice, Teatro di San Carlos, Theatre de Wallonie, Vlaamse Oper, and Oper Frankfurt. He has appeared with the Boston Symphony, National Symphony, Trondheim Symphony, Seattle Symphony, and the Mostly Mozart Festival and Lincoln Center Festival Orchestras. He can be heard on Delos Records and appears on Kultur Video. Baltimore area audiences have heard him many times in performances with the Baltimore Opera, Washington Opera, and Baltimore Choral Arts Society. Mr. Wilson resides in Towson with wife, choreographer Kimberly Mackin, and their daughter.
