Welcome to the Towson University Choirs’ 2007-2008 season! Whether you’re interested in joining one of our choirs, attending a concert, or purchasing a CD, you should find all of the information you need using the links provided. As the new director of choirs here at TU, I look forward to continuing the strong choral tradition that has been part of the music department for many years. Come visit us in the newly renovated Center for the Arts, which houses a new recital hall, recording studio, and faculty offices, as well as renovated class and rehearsal spaces. Improvements to the Harold J. Kaplan Concert Hall will enhance concerts by the choirs as well as other ensembles. The Towson University choirs enjoy the support of the student chapter of the American Choral Directors Association. Students in this organization, many of them Music Education majors, enhance their musical and administrative experiences with choral rehearsal observations, concerts, support functions for TU choral concerts, and social events.
