The Towson University Cello Ensemble was founded in 1986 by Professor Cecylia Barczyk for T.U. cello students and graduates, as well as other outstanding cellists from Maryland and neighboring states. Highlights of the Ensemble's performances include concerts at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. and the World Cello Congress III.
