Ensembles

The Department of Music at Towson University has a variety of ensembles including a symphony orchestra, a symphonic band, several choirs, a “Music for the Stage” program, jazz ensembles, and small instrumental ensembles.

All Music majors are required to participate in ensembles. Students are limited to enrolling in three ensembles per term. Ensembles will be varied in both size and nature. Each degree program and/or concentration has its own set of expectations. Most auditions are scheduled during the first week of classes.
