The Center for the Arts is located at the corner of Osler and Cross Campus drives. It houses the Ruth Marder Studio Theatre, Mainstage Theatre, the Arts are the Asian Arts & Culture Center, the Center for the Arts Art Gallery, Holtzman MFA Art Gallery, and the offices of the Maryland Performing Arts Institute and Community Arts Center.
The Center for the Arts was extensively renovated and augmented in 2004. The Department of Music occupies three floors in two wings of the building. The new wing contains most of the faculty offices, the administrative suite, the new recording studio, the keyboard lab, percussion practice rooms, resource room, and computer lab.
Stephens Hall, easily identified by its clock tower, is located in the 7900
block of York Road. The Stephens Hall Auditorium seats approximately 800 and is designed to meet the performance requirements of the Music for the Stage productions as well as performances by other campus units and professional touring groups.
Recital Hall
The new Recital Hall was built in 2004. It has 150 seats.
Recording Studio
The RSTUDM is professional, teaching recording studio. Recording, mixing, and mastering services are available to members of the Towson Unversity community and the public.
