Logan also has extensive performance experience with the Midland-Odessa Symphony, the Northwood Orchestra, and the Baltimore Chamber Orchestra. He has performed alongside Dave Brubeck, Maureen McGovern, Rosemary Clooney, Brandford Marsalis, Charlotte Church, and Al Hirt.
With the National Philharmonic in Washington, Logan performed as Principal Clarinetist on a recording featuring works by Steven R. Gerber. He has also been featured on programs at Baird Auditorium (Smithsonian Museum of Natural History) and the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, DC. He was an International Clarinet Association Competition Semifinalist in Seattle, and a winner of the Catholic University of America Concerto Competition. He is also the founding member of the critically-acclaimed chamber ensemble Logan Circle.
Logan completed his Doctor of Musical Arts degree at the Catholic University of America, where he studied with Ricardo Morales. A strong proponent of music education, he has taught at Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove, Pa. and currently leads an active private clarinet studio in Silver Spring, Md. At Towson University he is Adjunct Professor of Clarinet.
