John Pusateri is an adjunct faculty member and Director of the Towson University Chorale Society. He is also currently the orchestra and choral director at Perry Hall High School in the Baltimore County Public School System, where he directs both full and string orchestras, the Mixed, Concert, and Women's Choirs, and the Theater Program. Last semester he conducted a joint endeavor of the Choral Society, the Towson University Chorale, and Men's Choirs in a performance of Mozart's Vesperae solennes de confessore and helped prepare the choirs for their performance of Duruflé’s Requiem.

Pusateri studied vocal performance and music education at Geneva College in Beaver Falls, Pa., where he earned bachelor's degrees in both areas and was the student conductor of The Genevans, the college's main choir. Following his undergraduate studies, he moved to Baltimore where he studied voice with professors Leneida Crawford and Phillip Collister, completing his Master's of Science in Music Education at Towson in 2006.

As a professional singer and conductor Pusateri has enjoyed many concert opportunities including giving performances at The Royal Albert Hall with the London Philharmonic and at Westminster Abbey. He also gave cultural exchange performances in Tiananmen Square and other major venues in Beijing, China. Recently he had the opportunity to be a guest conductor at the final concert of his teacher and mentor, Robert Copeland of Geneva College at The Genevan's Spring Concert in April of 2012.
