Transfer of major credit is based upon an audition, a review of transcripts and an interview with the
department chairperson. Transfer students must meet with the department chairperson immediately
after matriculating.
All music majors must complete a minimum of 24 major units at Towson University, all of which are
upper-level (300–400) courses.
All music minors must complete a minimum of 12 units at Towson University that meet the upper-division electives requirement specified in the Undergraduate Catalog in Section II of the Minor in Music section.
Transfer students should also check the Towson University "To Do" list for information from the Office of New Student Programs.
