The Bachelor of Music in keyboard performance offers a comprehensive approach to the education of pianists who are committed to the highest level of performance.
In addition to the music core curriculum, students in the piano performance concentration take classes in counterpoint, accompanying, keyboard harmony and sight-reading, piano pedagogy, and keyboard literature; they are expected to present two solo recitals (junior and senior recital). Students also take two semesters of lessons in a secondary keyboard instrument or voice.
