Patricia Burt - Bachelor of Arts in Psychology - Johns Hopkins; Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance - Towson University; Working on a Master's degree in Piano Performance at TU; has a private studio in Owings Mills.

Belinda deCastro - Bachelor of Music (cum laude, major in piano) - St. Paul Conservatory of Music in Manila,
Philippines; postgraduate work at TU, including music composition; Yamaha Music School faculty in Manila and
at TU; has taught piano at private schools.

Laurel Ewell - Doctor of Musical Arts - West Virginia University; BA and Bachelor of Music - University of Washington;
Served as Asst. Principal flute of the Hong Kong Philharmonic and flute instructor for the Chinese University of Hong Kong and Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts. Performed with the Seattle Symphony, W. VA. Symphony, Opera Theater of Pittsburgh, among others.  Taught aural music theory at W. VA. University.

John Ficklin - Bachelor of Arts in music and philosophy - Florida State University (studied with Carlisle Floyd);
Master of Music with Honors in performance - Peabody Conservatory of Music; performed with Paul Maillet at
Peabody Elderhostel - works of Prokofiev, Brahms, Beethoven; currently teaches at St. Paul's School - Ward
Center for the Arts.

Christina Giorgilli - Scholarship student at Peabody Conservatory; received Bachelor of Arts in piano
performance - Towson University (studied with Reynaldo Reyes); earned Master of Music - Catholic University
with a double major in piano performance and piano pedagogy; was a finalist in the 1976 International Piano
Recording Competition; selected Outstanding Alumna in the Field of Music by TU; founder of the Music
Preparatory Division at TU; certified Yamaha Music Education System teacher; currently a member of the TU
piano faculty; teaches privately at Friends School.


Lum Fun Lee - Ms. Lee received her Teachers Certificate in TOESL (Teaching of English as a Second Language) from the Malayan Teachers College, Malaysia. She was a member of the Penang Philharmonic orchestra playing the violin and viola. She was awarded the Licentiate of the Royal Schools of Music (LRSM) in piano teaching, and the Licentiate of Trinity College of Music (LTCL) in piano performance in 1978. Subsequently, Ms. Lee was accepted at the Peabody Conservatory of Music in Baltimore and studied under Julio Esteban. She also holds a degree (graduated cum laude) from Towson University and studied under Reynaldo Reyes. She has recently been appointed the US & Canada Coordinator for Trinity Guildhall, an international examinations board in music, drama & speech and ESOL. Ms. Lee is the director of the Summer Music Institute, a faculty at Towson University Music Preparatory, and has a busy private piano studio. Her students have received numerous awards from Trinity College Londons examinations programs.

Aneta Otreba - Bachelor of Arts in cello Performance - Towson University; Master's Degree, Cello Performance - TU; working on Ph.D. at University of Maryland; has performed internationally in concerts and competitions.

Reynaldo Reyes - Graduate of the University of Santo Tomas in Manila, Philippines; received the "Premier Prix
de Piano" from the Paris Conservatory; earned master's degree and Artist's Diploma from Peabody
Conservatory; has concertized extensively in the United States, Europe, South America and the Philippines,
where he has been the recipient of numerous awards; currently professor on the piano faculty at TU, and
member of the Baltimore Trio.


Laura Weatherington - Master's degree  in  flute performance  - University of Maryland College Park.
Bachelor of Arts in Music Education - Towson University. Member of the Frederick Flute Choir and Celestial
Sounds Trio. Currently teaches at Villa Maria.
