The Invitational
Summer Teacher Institute
The Maryland Writing Project at Towson University is a
teacher-led organization dedicated to creating learning communities
for on-going professional development. Members of the Maryland Writing
Project, who are educators in all disciplines and content areas from
pre-kindergarten through university, work together to explore ways of
making the most of students' abilities to learn through writing. We
invite you to apply for our invitational Summer Teacher Institute and
join our network of teachers.
The invitational Summer Institute is designed for teachers in all content
areas pre-k through university who are interested in writing instruction
and have a strong and open approach to teaching. Call or write the MWP
office (410-704-3593) to learn more about our invitational Summer Institute
for training teacher-consultants in the teaching of writing and in the
use of writing as a learning tool.
