CBE’s HR concentration program earns program alignment certification from SHRM

The Society of Human Resource Management’s (SHRM) alignment guidelines are part of an initiative to define human resources education standards

Towson University’s College of Business and Economics’ human resources concentration program has earned alignment certification from the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM).

CBE’s program is one of 441 programs in 331 educational institutions worldwide to earn alignment certification from SHRM, whose guidelines are part of an Academic Initiative to define HR education standards taught in university business schools.

With the certification, TU students are eligible to apply for SHRM’s certified professional exam; SHRM-CP is one of the official HR certificates available for HR professionals.
