The Nonresident Alien (NRA) Tax Office is part of Student Financial Services Office and the Business Services unit at Towson University.  Our purpose and mission is to ensure institutional compliance with federal NRA tax regulations.

For any individual or beneficiary who is not a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident receiving payment from Towson University must have their tax status determined by our office.  This determines how tax withholding and reporting should be made in each individual case.

Please note we do not advise individuals on personal tax matters, however, we do provide tools and resources to help guide TU's international community with tax questions regarding payments and other NRA financial matters.
