The Campus Climate work group of the institutional Diversity Action Committee will support the establishment and maintenance of a campus climate that is welcoming and inclusive by:
Reviewing existing data sets related to campus climate and making recommendations of future climate study needs
Investigating the availability of methods for holding the campus community accountable when the labeling of others occurs and supporting the implementation of such methods that may exist
Striving to ensure that faculty, staff and students are aware of diversity programming available on campus
Encouraging faculty, staff, and students to participate in strategic community outreach offerings such as the Multi-Cultural Conference; and
Develop a plan and support implementation for Towson University's "Speak Up" Program.
