The Assistant to the President for Diversity will continue to coordinate the important work of Towson University’s Diversity Coordinating Council, Diversity Action Committee, and Towson University’s Hate/Bias Response Team. These groups will support the work of the President’s Task Force and vice versa by assisting with concerns and making recommendations regarding goals and/or initiatives to be considered for inclusion in a long-term plan.
Any student, faculty or staff member who has received a direct threat from anyone on campus must report the threat to Campus Police 410-704-4444 immediately.
Updates will be provided periodically to students, faculty and staff on the progress being made by the task forces and campus leaders and emerging challenges and strategies as they arise.
It is hoped that the new process will provide opportunity for meaningful discussion and actions at all levels across campus. We will continuously assess the new structure and make any needed changes that will improve the process.
