Student Task Force

The Student Task Force Against Bias, Discrimination, and Bullying is co-chaired by Victor Collins, Assistant VP of Student Affairs for Diversity, and Samantha Hubbard, SGA, Director of Diversity Outreach.

The mission of this group is:

  • To provide a forum for discussion for immediate and on-going issues.
  • To inform students who wish to proceed with a formal complaint as to the appropriate process for doing so.
  • To suggest strategies for education and improvement.
  • To encourage and empower students to unite their voices in support of diversity and inclusion.
  • To communicate concerns to the President’s Task Force.

The make-up of the group will include but not be limited to a representative from various student groups and will be determined by Student Affairs in consultation with students. The Assistant to the President for Diversity Debbie Seeberger will also serve on this task force. Two students from this task force selected by the co-chairs will serve on the President’s Task Force. The student task force will be assembled and ready to begin its work at the start of the fall semester.
