The Psychology Department at Towson University invites applicants for a full-time tenure-track position as Assistant Professor in Psychology, Clinical Psychology emphasis, beginning August 2010, contingent upon funding. Applicants must possess a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and show potential for a productive research program. Candidates must hold a doctorate in Psychology from an APA approved program and be eligible for licensure as a Psychologist in the state of Maryland. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching abnormal psychology, either research methods or behavioral statistics, as well as other courses important to the clinical curriculum. Opportunities for teaching at the graduate level also are present. Areas of research interest are open. Student advising and participation on Department or University committees are also expected.
