The Psychology Department at Towson University invites applicants for a full-time tenure-track position as assistant professor in Cognitive Psychology beginning August 2012, contingent upon funding.

Qualifications:
Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Psychology and possess a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and show potential for a productive research program in an area of Cognitive Psychology.

Responsibilities:
Teaching responsibilities will include Cognitive Psychology at the undergraduate level, as well as undergraduate courses in Introduction to Psychology, Research Methods and/or Behavioral Statistics. Faculty also will have opportunities for developing specialty courses in their area of expertise and for teaching at the graduate level. Student advising and participation on Department or University committees are also expected.
