Position:
The Department of Foreign Languages at Towson University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level beginning August 2014.

Qualifications:
Position entails teaching at all levels of French, including language, culture/civilization and literature. Specialization in French open. The ability to teach Arabic language and culture is required. Ph.D. in hand by the time of appointment and native or near-native fluency in both languages required. Candidates should provide evidence of excellence in teaching and show potential for successful scholarly activity. Preference will be given to candidates who are able to integrate new technologies in the teaching of foreign languages. Interest or experience in developing courses in Business, Health, or civic engagement also encouraged.
