The Human Resource Development MS degree program in the Psychology Department at Towson University invites qualified individuals to apply for a full-time, tenure-track position as Assistant Professor in Human Resource Development, beginning August 2014 and contingent on funding.

Applicants must possess a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and show potential for a productive research program in the fields and sub-disciplines of human resources management and development. Applicants must hold an earned doctorate degree in human resource management or development, industrial or organizational psychology, or a closely related discipline. It is preferred that applicants have experience teaching at the University level as well as a history of professional work experience.

The successful applicant will be responsible for teaching an introductory graduate course in human resources management along with advanced courses in some combination of the following areas: compensation and benefits; staffing, recruiting and selection; training and development; human resource information systems; and/or employee relations. This position will also be responsible for student advising as well as participation on departmental or university committees.
