The Department of Philosophy & Religious Studies at Towson University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor beginning fall, 2014.

Responsibilities:
Area of Specialty (AOS): Modern Philosophy.  Area of Competency (AOC): One or more of the following - metaphysics, epistemology or philosophy of mind.

Qualifications:
A Ph.D. in philosophy required. ABD candidates may be considered if the doctorate is completed by June 2014. Applicants must possess a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and scholarly productivity.  Experience with usual non-teaching duties. Salary is competitive.
