Position:
The Department of Foreign Languages at Towson University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor
level beginning August 2014.
Qualifications:
Position entails teaching Spanish language and culture courses at all levels. Research specialization open; Trans-Atlantic preferred. Practical applications in health professions, second language acquisition, education, business, law, immigration, media, etc. welcomed. Preference will be given to candidates who successfully integrate new technologies in the teaching of foreign languages. The ability
to teach a second language offered by the Department is desirable. Commitment to teaching excellence and scholarship essential. Ph.D.
and native or near-native fluency required. Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
